Culture is how cultures tell their stories through certain behaviors and dominant schools of thought throughout history.

In our modern society, the art practices of various cultures are intermingled with one another creating hybrid forms of art. This fusion of contemporary fine art disciplines is what is commonly known as, “postmodernism”. The fusion of different practices has allowed artists in countries such as the United States, Russia, and France to create works that speak to a cross section of people from different backgrounds. Aesthetics have become an important factor when discussing the creation of contemporary fine art.

Art has long been considered to be one of the most important aspects of human life. It is used to express feelings, to tell stories, and to offer instruction.
